Marie's Story

I was a member at Kennedy’s a year or so ago.  A program was created for me by one of the Personal Trainers, and over the time I achieved my goals of improving my fitness, toning  and losing a little weight.

On reaching these goals, I thought this was all too easy and gave up the gym, thinking I could do it all myself.  Not so…my weight slowly started to rise again and my general well being declined. There was always an excuse not to work out…too busy, too hot, too cold, etc. etc.

A few months ago, I received a nice e-mail from Danny, inviting me to return to the gym. That was all I needed. I had a new goal too…. to look good for a very important wedding in August. Danny set up a new program and I was back.

Since March this year, a combination of sensible eating and regular exercise at Kennedy’s has resulted in a weight loss of 7 kg and I feel great again. Thanks Danny.

The gym doesn’t suit “Arnie style” massive body builders and the membership is a friendly bunch of locals, focussed on achieving their personal fitness goals when training… they are not intimidating!

For anyone who is thinking about joining…just do it.  Set yourself a goal and go for it. Danny and his Personal Trainers are ready to help you achieve your goal…they did it for me!

The personal training I’ve received at Kennedy’s Personal Training has been fabulous.
I’ve found the staff to be well trained, very supportive and motivating towards helping me achieve my goal.
My tailored program, coupled with a healthier diet has seen me lose 11 kg’s in just 12 weeks and left me feeling great!
I am now over halfway to achieving my end result and I look forward to each session.
I have more energy than ever before and I’m already seeing definition returning to my body.
If anyone is thinking about making changes to their well being then Kennedy’s is the place to do it.

Stuart's Kokoda Adventure

I walked the Kokoda track in June 2009 - 6 months prior my fitness level was way below what was needed to complete this arduous trek. With Danny's help, and many trips up and down under Arthurs Seat chairlift, my fitness level gradually improved so that I was able to comfortably complete this arduous 8 day hike. I am now training to complete a half marathon in October. Last Christmas there was no way I would have even contemplated such an activity.
I must give a big thanks to Danny and Kennedy's for helping to make this a reality. kokoda_012

Tracy and Tony's Story

Tracy and Tony both have a weekly personal training session and personalised workout program. Their most noticeable achievement has been a loss of body fat, gain in muscle and improvement in overall body tone. Tracy says "I have more energy, motivation and self-discipline. I have noticed significant improvement in cardio fitness and general health. I can’t remember the last time I got a cold and I usually catch any sort of cold or flu that is going around! I also have the energy and motivation these days to get out of bed before 6am and get in to the gym 4 to 5 times a week – I was never a “morning person”!

Jake's Story

Jake has been training at Kennedy's for around 6 months utilising a gym program developed specifically around his aims of improving muscular strength and endurance so he can play Senior level Basketball.

James' Training for Water Skiing

img_8818James Hogben is a client whose training is based around his chosen sport of Water Skiing. James competes in National and International Competitions and spent some time last year travelling and competing throughout the USA and in Europe. Not a bad life for a young man of 19!

Ray and Margaret

Ray and Margaret are 2 of our favourite clients. Ray is a healthy 90 years of age and Margaret is a spring chicken at just 77!

They are relative latecomers to Personal Training, but have been completing 2 half hour sessions a week for more than 2 years now, proving you're never too old to give it a go.

Ron's Story

For the last 12 or so months I have been having 2 Personal Training sessions per week at Kennedy's Personal Training. I have also been attending Kennedy's 15 minute Abs classes.

I have now lost over 20 kilograms and regained a lot of strength, all round physical fitness and self confidence. My training has also helped me to overcome some lingering injuries.

Janet's Story

I had been participating in Aerobics classes on a regular basis so my fitness level wasn't too bad, but my Personal Training sessions have not only helped to increase my overall fitness but also increased my strength throughout my entire body.
